The Amazing Mopping One-Year-Old

What do you wanna bet that as soon as he's actually old enough to mop the floor, he won't want to anymore? Pretend that this is wordless, okay?

Too cute! It is unfortunate that they are so eager to do chores when they are little when they can't really do it well but when they're older they won't do it at all.

Thanks for your comment and something totally dawned on me when you said you can't really tie a person based on their looks to one language. While Spanish is indeed the "official" language of Guatemala, Emmi's "native" language is a Mayan dialect called Q'eqchi'. Her birthmother didn't speak Spanish at all. So there you have it!

Haha! That's so sweet! Just keep making the mopping fun so that when he is old enough you can just make him do the whole house as a "game" or something. Great picture!

I can't get over how much he looks like John in that picture. I don't think he looks that much like John, but he sure does in this picture!
Glad i got to see you today. It was fun.

Photos like this one are great to have! First of all, they are cute! Secondly, they help us remember this sweetness. And then I imagine they will help bribe them when they are older! (i.e. "See! You used to help me with the floor all the time!") I can only hope!
