My 100th Post Give-Away and 100 Things About Me

Wow, I made it to 100! When I started this blog, I didn't know if I would write more than a couple of posts. Obviously, I found a new hobby! It's funny to think that six months ago, I had no idea this blogging world existed. I'm glad I found it. :) I've had a lot of fun even though there's still a ton of stuff I would like to learn.

To celebrate, I'm having my first give-away! One lucky reader will win a book and a snack. To enter leave me a comment on this post sometime between now and Monday at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time. If you post a link to this contest on your blog and let me know, you'll have two entries! Somone will receive a copy of a book I recently read, The Shack by William P. Young. Everyone that doesn't win needs to go out, buy a copy, and read it! Anyone who has already read it needs to enter anyway, so she can give it to someone who hasn't read it! In The Shack, a man comes face-to-face with God. This book really presents a lot to think about and could transform your relationship with the Lord!

The winner will also win a bag of glorious chocolatey deliciousness a.k.a. Poppycock! I was introduced to Poppycock through a post on Jennifer's blog, so it's a fitting 100th post give-away item. Without blogging, I may never have known about this tasty snack. The horror!

Good luck everyone! Make sure you leave a comment for a chance to win! I'll announce the winner on Tuesday, so check back!

I also have a list of 100 things about me for my 100th post. In no particular order and in typical Jenelle randomess, here they are!

11. When I’m teaching, it doesn’t really bother me if kids are reading and ignoring me.
12. I spent the last year growing my hair out because I wasn’t sure what my natural color was anymore. Now that I know it’s a very uninteresting brown, I suspect I will be getting highlights soon.

22. but sometimes I ignore God. Isn’t that weird?

66. I don’t like coffee,

It took us 3 years to have our Matthew boy too. It was on our 3rd round of fertility meds that he FINALLY came along!

I loved reading all about you!

-GASP- I'm not much of a book reader so please don't include me in the give away. Give it to someone who would really enjoy it. I wanted to comment anyway. Woohoo to your 100th post!!!

Congratulations on your 100th post! That's awesome.
Loving the look!! Sorry, I've been absent.
This book sounds awesome and chocolate, yummy! Hope I win ( I won't) but I can hope right :-)

I always got in trouble in school for reading. That's how my parents punished me, they took away my books. GRRRR.

I already have the book so if I were to win, would donate it to my librarian friend for the public library...and the chocolate goodness, well that I would have to share with my coworkers at the office! Thanks for having this giveaway and congrats on 100 posts!

Jenelle - I love you and I love that you always make me laugh and I love that when I read your list, I knew every one of those things about you (well I think everything except the fungus on John's toenail but that doesn't count). I love that I'm reading that book right now - it's good, although I did kinda get the creeps about the Ladybug guy though........hugs!

This was fun to read and learn all these quirky things about you!

Congrats on your 100th post!!!

Ok So I'm a little late in entering, but I should win because I NEED the book and I REALLY NEED the poppycock. I've been dieting, ok attempting to diet and could really use some poppycock to help me out. And I am one of your best friends plenty of reason to win your contest. Oh one more reason you wouldn't have to waist money on the shipping, you could bring it to me. Oh and that would mean you would get to see me. WOW thats a lot of reasons to pick me, and I will laugh if I really do randomly win.

I can't believe I found your blog and your giving away the book "The Shack!" I had never heard of the book until yesterday. My husband and I are attending RCIA classes after mass on Sundays ... and yesterday the wife of the deacon who teaches the class was just going nuts over this book. She was just adamant we had to go out and get it. Anyway ... I'm subscribing to your feed & congrats on your 100th post!!!
